Piou Piou initiation
From the age of 3, your child can join our Piou Piou lessons and meet new friends with whom they can enjoy their first experiences on the slopes!

Working in a safe play area specially designed for their enjoyment, your little skiers will become familiar with their skis and develop their self-confidence.

At their own pace and under the watchful eye of their ski instructor, your child will learn while having fun!

How should I dress my child?
- Warm, comfortable, waterproof jacket, dungarees or overalls.
- Mittens rather than gloves.
- Helmet, goggles or sunglasses (attached with a cord) with a minimum UV rating of 3.
Is a medal included in the price?
The medal is included in the price, except for weekend courses.
At the end of the week, if you do not want the medal, you can obtain a refund. For your information, this amount will be paid in full to the emergency fund of esf Megève.
Will my child need a Ski pass?
All children need a ski pass. It's free for children under 5 when they show proof of age. Thanks to "Mon Séjour en Montagne", you can add a free "Baby" ski pass to your basket in a single order.
At what level should my child be enrolled?
Please choose the level that corresponds to your child's level to ensure a smooth and enjoyable learning experience:

1. I'm discovering snow and skiing with Piou Piou (I've never skied before).

2. I'm learning to slide, move around and go back up with Blanchot (I've already done a week with Piou Piou).

3.I slide, I slide... and I control my speed on the snowplough with Sifflote (I've already done more than a week with Piou Piou).
My child is 4 and has already done several weeks of Piou Piou. What can I do?
For reasons of safety and responsibility, we recommend that you allow your child to ski in enclosed, safe areas adapted to their age and level, such as the Piou Piou gardens.

We know that some children ski regularly and progress quickly, which is why we organise level groups:
- I've never skied before, I'll join Piou Piou.
- I've already done a week with Piou Piou, I'll join Blanchot.
- I've already done more than a week's skiing with Piou Piou, I'll sign up as a Sifflote.

For children aged 4 and over, we also offer the Premium course during New Year's week and the February holidays.
What is the difference between the Kids Club and the Piou Piou Initiation?
1. Location: the clubs are located at Mont d'Arbois and La Caboche, while the Piou Piou initiation is only organised at Le Jaillet, La Princesse and Rochebrune.

2. The Kids' club is a day nursery with a child-friendly structure (play area, meals, etc.) which includes an introduction to skiing supervised by an ESF instructor, in small groups, lasting around 1.15 hours per half-day.

3. The 2-hour Piou Piou Initiation is a group ski lesson for little ones in the snow garden. Children ski for around 1.15/1½ hours per half-day.
Can I enrol my 2½ year old in this course?
For reasons of safety and responsibility, we only accept children aged 3 and over, so you can start with a private lesson.

Outside the school holidays, it may be possible for a child who is just a few days off their 3rd birthday to have a trial lesson with the agreement of the esf Club director.
There are no lessons available on the arrival date of my stay, what should I do?
If you enter Saturday as your start date, you should have several choices of lessons available.
