Beginners'skiing

For their first taste of snow sports, your children will join our Ourson level lessons, supervised by our experienced ski instructors with tried-and-tested teaching methods. They'll enjoy a warm, dynamic atmosphere and will be stimulated by their group to develop their technique.

Ski beginners' lessons
Children aged between 5 and 12 who have never skied before join our beginners' skiing lessons for a fun and successful first experience!

They will join an Ourson group (beginner level), where they can learn to ski at their own pace and in complete safety.

Supervised by our esf Megève ski instructors, your children will benefit from expert advice to help them make rapid progress and gain confidence on their skis.

Please note: Full-day lessons are only available for children aged 7 and over.

How is a full-day lesson organised?
The 1st lesson is on Monday. At 10am we will meet at the esf for the skiing lesson, then a member of staff will collect your child for the lunch break and bring them back at 2.35pm for their second skiing lesson of the day.

At 5pm, you will need to collect your child at the end of their skiing lesson. 

Between 12:25 and 2:35pm, your child will be picked up and taken to La Caboche's heated picnic room for lunch. 
What will my child need for the day package?
For the lunch break, your child would benefit from a change of shoes. Pack a bag with shoes.
There are no lessons available on the arrival date of my stay, what should I do?
If you enter Saturday as your start date, you should have several choices of courses available.
How many learners are there per group?
The esf tries to have groups of 8 to 10 students but during the school holidays the groups are of 12 students per instructor.
Do I need to buy a ski pass for the ski lifts?
All children need a ski lift pass. With "Mon Séjour en Montagne", we'll add lift passes to your basket. This offer applies to beginner level / Ourson and above.
Is a medal included in the price?
The medal is included in the price, except for weekend courses.
At the end of the week, if you do not want the medal, you can obtain a refund. For your information, this amount will be paid in full to the emergency fund of esf Megève.
I can't access the payment page, what should I do?
Your browser's security level may be very high. Turn it down for the duration of the booking or deactivate your firewall to finalise the booking.
